David Preece
Luton never replaced Preecey in the midfield as the finest and most consistent passer of the ball I have seen since 1967 when I first watched Luton play! He was also the greatest playmaker we had who had a superb temperament -never losing it in the heat of the action! A true Luton great! I never knew him personally but imagine from all reports that he was a great family man and I felt so sad for his young family when he passed away!

Preecey in my opinion was without doubt one of "The Hatters" all time greats, one of the most prolific passers of the ball I have witnessed at Kenilworth Road over the years...

Sad news
A player who gave his all. I'll always remember Cardiff away in ther FA Cup around 1993 - you don't see passion like that from players anymore.
